From b6df74fcc78f47e4ed09b490d6307cb5165f5c9f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Gokul Sivakumar Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2023 14:46:32 -0500 Subject: [PATCH 179/296] brcmfmac: TWT: use Dialog Token as unique identifier to track session setup In a scenario where a TWT AP responds with an ACCEPT but assigns a new flow ID instead of the requested flow ID, the Dialog Token has be used as a unique identifier instead of the flow ID, for this specific iTWT setup request transaction in the Host Driver & Firmware. Also in the case when the userspace didn't specify a flow ID to be used on the TWT setup solicit, the Dialog token could be used to map the TWT Setup cmd sent to the Firmware and the TWT Setup event received from the Firmware on receiving a response from the TWT AP. This mapping is achieved using the newly introduced Dialog Token based session list lookup function. In the driver, maintain a cycling (1-255) Dialog Token and use a new value for each TWT setup request transaction initiated by this device. Override the Dialog Token specified in TWT setup cmd from userspace, to avoid affecting the driver state machine that already uses a cycling value as a unique identifier. Firmware will implicitly assign a Dialog Token for every iTWT Setup Request sent out of the device, only when the Host Driver specifies a "zero" Dialog Token while sending TWT setup IOVAR to Firmware.
